Let's practice what you learned here.
It’s very minor but the last part of section 3 doesn’t have a translation. Thanks.
@YUTA I think I got now the ~てみる
will review the lesson after this comment 🙂
the way the site is structured is not super clear… but that is fine, now that it is clarified… and I was extremely suspicious about having all the 250 words here xD
Any way gonna study 🙂
In the sentence 「うん、もう少(すこ)しで終(お)わるの。」, is the particle で used here to indicate sequence?
Very good, but tricky question.
で here makes 少し about the time.
少しで終わる I’ll finish soon.
少し終わる I’ll finish a little bit (of work)
ありがとうございます。
@FRANKD763 now we are talking 😛
I guess this is some kind of limitation from wordpress?
Anyway I will take a look at the rest… domoarigatou gozaimasu… I need to figure a way to type Kana/kanji on linux…
Wait this page has already 250 words? I’m guessing this is going to be faster than I initially thought… I will study this as many times as I need anyway 🙂
Anyway I feel like should have gone to a more advanced level, but there were still new words… so I made the right choice xD
The only question I had is the same as Leonard… it is quite a confusing sentence… do you merge both て for convenience? Wouldn’t the correct sentence be something like: 「ちょっと書いててみていい?」?
My Japanese teacher mentions that many times words get aggregated or slightly modified for convenience or ease of speech… like on this case it would be harder to say 「ちょっと書いててみていい?」than 「ちょっと書いてみていい?」
It’s not only this page. Go to Archive and click on レベル1
There’s more.

“ちょっと書いててみていい?” is incorrect. “ちょっと書いてみていい?” is the only correct one.
~てみる simply means it connect to the te-form. There’s only one て
Also, we don’t use all the 250 words in one lesson. We only use words from the list of the top 250 words in our conversations.
「田中(たなか):ちょっと書(か)いてみていい?」 Is the first て from 書(か)いて or てみて (or both combined)?
「てみて」simply means it connects to the て form. So the first て is just the て of 書いて
