Masato and his mother are talking at home on Sunday morning.

買っときたい。I don’t completely understand this. Isn’t it made up from the words くる and 買う？I’ve never seen と being used to connect words like that. I would appreciate an explanation.
Also when Masato’s mother talks about buying eggs and meat why does she use the polite copula お for お肉 but not for the eggs?

買っときたい。＝買っておきたい。（買っておく＋たい）
たい＝want, want to do something
買っておく
Te Form + oku, okimasu
~て+おく: It means “will do certainly”, “do in advance”.
~て+おきます； same but polite.
By itself, おく means “to put,” but after a verb in the Te Form, it means “will certainly do (that verb).
any verb ~te+oku means that someone will definitely do that “verb~ておく” right away or in the very near future. It has a “will go ahead and do” kind of feeling to it.
We usually don’t say otamago. It sounds unnatural.
