In situation 2 “そろなの?それって 俺のこと” the English version says Is that so, Does that mean you like me?
I understand って here means と言うこと but I do not see the 好き in the sentence. How do we deduce that it means “you like me” in that scenario?

ー I’m not sure if I understand your question correctly, but it’s mentioned like this:
それって、俺のこと好きってこと？
Does that mean you like me?
俺のこと means more like “about me.”
By adding のこと, the sentence sounds less direct than saying 君は俺が好きなの？(Do you like me?)

So the literal translation is About me, it means you like me?
In the statement is それって the colloquial of それわ meaning “that is”

– Does it mean we can’t see each other again?
(So you’re saying I won’t see you again?)
Unrelated to the lesson but I’ve been looking for a hiragana keyboard for awhile now but not sure what to grab as amazon is worthless for these things. Is there some Japanese company that makes keyboards and one that can switch between hiragana and romaji?
