先生
In “野田:いえ。よかったら、飲に行きたいなと” the explanation of と when hovering over the word doesn’t seem to fit any of the explanation. What is the actual meaning of と in this context ?

すいません 先生,
I saw your reply to Samuel below. So basically とis a contraction of と思います.

The rest part is omitted.

The full sentence should be:
よかったら、飲に行きたいなと思ってるんですけど、どうですか?。
I’d like to go for a drink if you’d like. What’d you say?

It is a euphemistic invitation.

In this sentence いえ。よかったら、飲のみに行いきたいなと。I don’t understand なと
Could you please explain how that works?

You use the suffix なあ OR な when you express what you feel or think. Sometimes you are just talking to yourself so it doesn’t matter whether you have a listener or not.
Take a look at the below for many examples.

We sometimes omit some verbs such as 思うんです。0r考えてるんです。in conversations.
In the case, のみに行きたいなと。
思うんです。Or 思っているんです。were omitted.

Another example:
A: 彼は何と言ったんですか?
B:東京に行くと。(言ったんです。)

I hope this helps! If any questions, please let me know.
