Q1: is てくる what you usually use instead of ていく if you will return right after the task?
am I right to assume this is the time usage of chodo (I.e. just now)?
Q1: is てくる what you usually use instead of ていく if you will return right after the task?
No, it doesn’t have to be “right after.”
買ってくる consists of 買う(buy) and くる (come back), and it means “go get something.”
xxxてくる can be used as long as you go to do xxx and come back.
Just in case, it isn’t used as an alternative of xxxていく since they are different.
xxxていく means go out and do xxx on the way, and then go somewhere.
am I right to assume this is the time usage of chodo (I.e. just now)?
The sentence means “I’ve just wanted to eat it.”
ーー xxxたくて is used to express the reason or motivation for an action, or to describe a feeling or situation caused by a strong desire to do something.
Hi, I have a question, the second dialogue of situation 3 says:
ユウコ:いい。私わたし、別べつの本ほん読よむ。
I noticed that it’s missing the を between hon and yomu. In the quiz the question has it so, I don’t know if maybe the voice is saying it and I don’t notice it, or maybe in casual context you can omit the particle? Or maybe it is a mistake.
Thank you very much!
Good observation! Yes, we often omit を in daily conversation.
