In lesson 1 , 仕事が多くて vs なんか多いですよね. May I ask when it uses te-form or the other form?

It’s (i-adjective) + くて. It’s used when you want to connect two sentences.

仕事が多くて、大変でした。- There was a lot to do, and it was pretty rough.
In this case, くて indicates a reason.
It was a rough day for the speaker because there was a lot to do.

なんか多いですよね – It feels like we’ve had a lot of work lately, doesn’t it?
よね works to make a tag question (doesn’t it?)

In Situation 3 ちょっと is used in a way I don’t. I know ちょっと to mean “a little” but how exactly is it used in this case?

That’s a good question.
The word ちょっと is used when the request is easy and doesn’t take much of the other person’s time or effort.

Do you have an SRS system to track which words I know? Which ones need practice?

We don’t have flashcards as this course is about acquiring words through a lot of input instead of memorising them. But feel free to create flashcards yourself if you’d like to incorporate them into your learning.
